The Oldham Muslim centre delivers its services based on the principal of ‘something for everyone’
The Oldham Muslim Centre recognises the contribution of the elders to the community and infrastructure of this society. The OMC involves elderly people in activities and encourages meaningful interaction between the different ages and communities, along with promoting health and well being.
Young people are active, creative and inspiring, the Oldham Muslim Centre involves young people in youth projects and initiatives to raise awareness of drugs and develop projects of social issues to help make them better community citizens and create the future leaders of the community.
There is a huge shortfall of services and facilities for women in our community, the Oldham Muslim Centre has an exclusive area for women to take part in activities and socialise, pray and conduct educational, sporting and faith based articles in a safe and halal environment.
Through understanding we grow respect for one another, the Oldham Muslim Centre provides and organises activities and public events to allow people from different backgrounds, cultures and faiths to come together and work for the common good.
The Oldham Muslim Centre provides space, facilities and services for children to develop their social, spiritual and educational needs. Thus building a moral and prosperous future generation, our children, our future.
